Workspace Preview while navigating Virtual Desktops KDE

I am running KDE 4.10.5 under SlackWare 14.1. I am using Slide animation for Virtual Desktop switching. How can I enable workspace preview in the pager while navigating between desktops. I want to achieve the effect shown in the image in the link

I am afraid you did not understand my problem. Currently I use Ctrl+arrows to navigate between workspaces. When I make a transition from one workspace to another I automatically get a the pager shown for a few seconds, but all the desktops on the pager are gray, like that http://s24.postimg.org/3vglk4bhh/snapshot4.png . What I want is to have a preview (screenshot) of each desktop on the pager (like that http://s13.postimg.org/kqlbfwv3b/Ubu...rkspaces_4.png) because I do not remember on which workspace I have opened a particular window and without the preview I have to wander around until I find it.

What you've shown in your pic is Gnome's pager, not KDE's pager...

For the options in KDE workspace switching, you need to use the System Settings manager, and adjust the settings in Desktop Effects>>All Effects and/or Workspace Behavior>>Switching.

Your other option is to edit the behavior of the task manager to display open windows from all desktops (and to switch to that desktop/window from the preview).

The bottom line is that KDE isn't Gnome,... and vice versa...
