I wonder if anyone got app-containers/waydroid working.
Any hints on how to get it working are welcome.

The official release date for Fedora 40 is April 23, 2024 which is 5 days off which means that you have volunteered to test the Beta version. You should report your problem to the Fedora developers as that is the purpose of making an early (beta test) release available. If you happen to get a solution here it would also be helpful to inform the Fedora developers.
