Hi,

I have configured my Apache server in redhat Linux 5
httpd service has been installed and started the service.
and also i have configured in http.conf file..
i can able to open the index.html file through Mozilla firefox...

but i have created one more file called test.html in /var/www/html.. and i have linked that file with index.html using <a href> ...

not able to access that linked file test.html in Mozilla getting an error that...

" /var/www/html/test.html" not found in the apache server"

Please help me on this......

Is the way you made the link correct ?
try linking to the full address of http://yoursite.com/test.html or just link to test.html.
I gather test.html works when you go to it with your browser

Thanks for your update,I have tried test.html file using http://localhost.com/test.html it is working fine.

When i user http://localhost.com/index.html it opens the index.html file inside that i made a link for test.html when i click that link.

It is showing error has /var/www/html/test.html not found on the server......
