Want separate screens for my desktop

I have Ubuntu 10.10, what I want is when I click the 2nd Desktop, my icons on the screen (my files) should go away, and be replaced by whatever is on the *2nd* desktop - i.e. 4 separate computers, so to speak.
Which desktop environment gives me this facility?

Thanks.

At first, you shouldn't use 10.10, it is out of support and will not get any bugfixes and security updates.
To your problem, have a look here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ubuntu-852686/
