Ok so If anyone has seen the newest Tron Legacy movie and they are on this forum they would have been like me and watched intently as the computer screens showing Encom OS as well as the older version running the grid called SolarOS ran commands and shouted with cheers when they ran actual Unix/Linux commands to kill processes etc..
Well I'm really wanting to emulate the desktop environment used in this movie as a tribute and because it would look just plain awesome! Has anyone seen anything close to this, or is there any project that you know of that is being developed for this? If no then could anyone suggest what it would take to get something like this running and being usable. Would it be easier to setup a theme on an existing window manager like fluxbox/openbox, or would this require an entirely new project?
