Thunderbird_AppImage missing in action (MIA)?

Hello,

I download the AppImage for Thunderbird. After running and setting up an existing email address, it worked well. The email account looked fine to me. However, I could not launch it again, and no where to find. As you might have seen in the attached snapshot, the appImage was asking me to set up again. So, my question is do I need to install the Thunderbird separately? Thank you very much.

Regards,

Sorry, I don't get it. Thunderbird is a very common application, present in most distros' repositories. Unless it's TB Beta or TB Nightly which doesn't seem to be the case, why install it via AppImage?

Agree, I am using Debian 10.7 with Evolution mail. I thought AppImage might be different, but I was wrong. You are correct, I can get it through my Synaptic Package Manager. Thank you.
