I need an application to fill in forms on my computer. I don't need to create web forms or anything like that, I just need to be able to scan in a paper form and fill it out on my computer. I currently use Omniform in Windows, so I'm looking for something similar to that.
From a few searches, Omniform is supposed to be working well under the current version of WINE. No need to change applications if you've already paid for it and are happy with it.
I can do that as a last resort, however I would prefer something open source if there is something available. I'm trying to get away from comercial software altogether unless an open source replacement cannot be found.
