Question Set default window size in rxvt-unicode

Hi,

I am using the rxvt-unicode (whenceforth shall be referred to as "urxvt") terminal with fvwm-crystal, and I want to set it's default window size so that it is of ANSI/ISO resolution (80 columns by 24 rows). I do not want to achieve this by changing default font size, but rather by changing default window resolution. How would I go about doing this? Does urxvt have an easy way to handle this? Or will it need special configuration via fvwm?

Thanks in advance.

usually you can set it by using Xresources, http://www.rxvt.org/manual.html (geometry)

Code:
echo "URxvt.geometry: <columms>x<rows>" > ~/.Xdefaults
Replace "<columns>" with the number of columns you wish it to use and replace "<rows>" with... I think you get the idea

rxvt-unicode parses ~/.Xdefaults automatically when it starts -- see urxvt(1)

Thanks for both of your answers.
@Head_on_a_Stick: Your answer solved the question explicitly, and saved me a whole lot of trial and error.
@pan64: Your answer probably solved most future questions I may have on this topic in advance, and is probably the more "proper" answer.
