Question RTL text in Gnome Console

Is there any way to solve the right-to-left text problem (take a look here) in the gnome-terminal?

I know i can download Konsole and activate bidi support, but i don't like Konsole, i want to use gnome-terminal.

If there's no solution, how can i set english language ONLY for gnome-terminal (while the whole desktop is still in hebrew)?

(Why do i need hebrew on a terminal? Filesnames are in hebrew, standard error output is in hebrew...)

Maybe Xfce Terminal will work for you. It's written in GTK+, which is the same toolkit that GNOME uses (KDE uses the Qt toolkit).

The only thing that i see is to use fribidi (and maybe changing encoding from utf8 to ISO 8859-8 in terminal could also help).
