Lately my Debian-11(Bullseye)desktop failed to load some news website after a series of automatic system update.
The web sites are https://www.cgtn.com/channel/documentary, BBC news (UK) While loading Firefox vers 102.0esr(64bit):-the error message is "cannot load M3U8:levelLoadTimeOut".
I have tried to reinstall FFmpeg and libavcodec as suggest by some readers but this too failed to correct the error.
Prior to this problem, I am able to view every websites without any problem but after a number of automatic system update. These problem started.
I have tried with "Brave browser and also Chromium browser. These too have the same problem,
Any help is appreciated.
putting that error message into Google came back with lots of results. Seems like a setting with 3rd party cookies.
Ans:I have tried as suggested but those links in google are usually for Windows 10, Ubuntu and non debian specific.
Have spent long time searching but not helpful.
Still plagued by the same problem.
IDK, maybe not all of it is, but the 20min I spent with it were. It's clear (to me) that this is something like RT for China >>>.
Ans:I am regular to other news media (Aljazeera, Euronews, France24, BBC, CNA and CNN) and still do so without bias to any.Recommend any new one and I will be most happy to explore.
Thanks.
