Login from GRUB g> prompt

Archlabs 2020.11.04 Openbox 3

I edited my sddm config file and obviously made at least one error. When attempting to boot, the process stalls at a blank screen (where the user/password login screen used to be).

How do I log in from the grub g> prompt so I can restore the backup sddm config file I made?

Simplest is to use a liveCD - the install image should do if you still have it.

The Archlabs ISO is only install - no live environment. I do have a live USB for Manjaro. I could boot to that but I would need to change root to get at the disk files, would I not? That's something I have never done.

OK. I found a couple of examples of that so will try. It's getting late here so I will leave it until the morning. Thanks for the help.
