Hello: I have installed Windows XP on my primary partition and Slackware based Austrumi on my second partition. My problem is that I cannot configure Lilo to find and boot to my Windows directory as a choice.
I have modified \etc\lilo.conf and afterwards re-run 'lilo' in a terminal window...
For those of you who may not have heard of this Linux Distrubution... You have a full featured OS with 220 Mb file size. You can listen to MP3s and all the latest videos from YouTube with no additional installs. LibreOffice is fully installed as well. Here is a link to the latest .iso:
ftp://austrumi.ru.lv/
Info:
http://cyti.latgola.lv/ruuni/
When you boot; at the English menu, Press 'Esc' and at the Boot prompt> Type "austrumi lang_en" to boot to the English based system. ...otherwise, you have to change to English afterward in the Lithuanian based OS which is not too dificult.
Install is based from the CD / Flash drive boot. Left click on desktop: Choose System Tools> Install to HDD.
Below is my lilo.conf file text.
The Windows Bootloader file is incorrect; I have tried in vain to build it. To date nothing works to 'hook' Windows XP on my primary partition. I can boot to a Windows XP cd and repair my MBR and boot fine to Windows XP.
My goal is to dual boot using LILO to Linux or Windows XP...
Any suggestions? - Thanks for reading...
(Austrumi Linux uses lilo.conf instead of config)

The two last boot options result in kernel failure load. The PC does not see Windows.
I feel I am missing a small yet important step.
Thanks for looking.
