LightDm Configuration/Installation

Hi Guys,

I am trying to configure and install lightDM but to my dismay there is no documentation on how to do so?
i.e. should I just go with the general

Code:

./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make install

code segment or is there anything else specific to lightDM?

The README of the source code I downloaded is empty :/ As a result I am a tad bit clueless!! SO I would greatly appreciate some advice on what I should do.

Also I read that I would be needing a greeter as well. Any suggestions on a good one?

I just gave the above a try , with the --disable-introspection at configuration; but then the process fails at make (error attached)

Ok I have tried installing Gobject introspection and tried running the make script again but I still get the same error msg :/

Anyone with any idea WHY this is happening ???
HELP will be greatly appreciated

I am trying it on a system I created using LFS 7.3 platform....
I went through the article but then I cannot seem to figure out a solution to the problem :/
