KVM doesn't work with Spice

Hello!

I am using libvirt and qemu-kvm on Debian Jessie as host OS. When i Try to run Kubuntu as Guest using spice instead of vnc it says

Quote:
Error connecting to graphical Console:
Error opening Spice Console, SpiceClientGtk missing
I changed the video-configuration for the Guest-OS from Cirrus to QXL 64 Mb as it is recommended here: http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/SPICE.

I have the spiceclient packages installed on the Host-OS and spice-vdagent on Guest os but the error message still shows up everytime i try to boot the guest-os.

What can i do?

You also rebooted the host, correct? If so, there are a couple of packages you haven't mentioned in older versions of this bug: see Google for spiceclientgtk missing, first several hits seem relevant.

Do you use virt-manager?
Its a really good graphical frontend to libvirt.
