KDE 3.5 style menu desktop bar in KDE 4?

Hai

I was curious if anyone knows how to get the menu desktop bar, which I am told is like the macos style bar, in KDE 4?

Right-click on the Kicker (start button) and select Classic Style.

I think something is misunderstood.. not the actual menu but the panel called menu bar. In kde 3.5 it was in the appearance settings I think.. it had File/Sessions/Bookmarks/desktop/windows/help at the top.

Some qt themes like qtcurve allow to show / hide the menubar, there might be option to do other stuff with it too (never tried)

This may be a bit extreme, but there's a fork of KDE 3.5 called Trinity. Take a look:
