I can't log on after upgrade (KDE 3.5)

Hi!

I've installed Sabayon Linux 3.5 for the first time and have upgaded it. For upgrade i used equo. After that I can't log on. After inputing username and password i return to kdm again.

I've found such messages in my /var/log/maessages file

...kdm: :0[9967]: Cannot execute startup script "/usr/kde/3.5/share/config/kdm/Xstartup"
...kdm: :0[6815]: Cannot execute reset script "/usr/kde/3.5/share/config/kdm/Xreset"

Any idea?

I've installed gnome and have changed /etc/conf.d/xdm file DISPLAYMANAGER='gdm'. Now I can log on throughout gdm. I can't understand why kdm is not working?

Are the Xstartup and Xreset scripts available in /usr/kde/3.5/share/config/kdm, and if they are are they set as executable?

Talking

I've comped files with files on my Gentoo computer and have commented
in Xreset file:
rm /var/run/console/$USER
in Xstartup file:
touch /var/run/console/$USER

It's working now
