howto turn off hover-click in LXDE?

I have the LXDE desktop installed. Apparently, hover-click is the default/set. I have a touchpad. If I let my finger off the touchpad, it selects whatever the cursor is currently set on.
How do I turn off the hover-click?

I cannot check since I don't have my LXDE install with me. I know this is kind of old, but maybe this thread will help:

The feature you refer to is also called dwell click. Using this term may help you to search for a solution.
