how to make it dual boot in winxp and linux os?
I have already install linux in my pc, now i want to install windows XP .Is this way the PC will have dual boot?
or i must install windows XP first then only can install Linux?

its advisable to install windows first but if you install it second you just have to reinstall grub

just boot up your install cd and go into rescue mode

If you make the Windows partition a primary partition, then you can boot activate it. Then you just install Windows into the active partition. After the installation you reactivate the other partition. Now you can boot into Linux again. Then you could edit your menu.lst and add Windows to your boot menu. Then you got your dual boot.
