How to embed KMail in Kontact?
I usually use Kontact, and read my email in KMail embedded in Kontact.
Today, one of the techs came in and fiddled (fixed) a few things on my computer. He opened KMail as a stand-alone program.
Now, whenever I run Kontact and click on Mail, KMail opens itself in a separate window.
I've been through the obvious configurations, to no avail. As an example, in Kontact if I choose the sequence:
Settings -> Configure Contact -> Select Components
...there is no longer a KMail component to even select. I also looked in the KMail settings. I also looked in the KDE Control Centre, thinking something may be hiding in there. And the answer may be hiding there, but I didn't find it.
I notice a similar thread once before, but there was no reply (dated 04-11-05, sent by captain skywave, entitled "kontact - kmail bug..")
Surely the answer is easy. And surely someone has managed to run KMail outside Kontact, and had to try getting KMail to embed in Kontact again.
Can someone please tell how to embed KMail back into Kontact again?
(I am running Kontact 1.2.3, KDE 3.5.5, KMail 1.9.5, on a Debian box.)
