How to create file templates in xfce4 ?


Hello all.

I would like to know how to create right click file templates in xfce4 ?

My menu looks a little different. It lists a "Create Document" sub-menu which lists the files in the ~/.Templates directory. I'm running Thunar 0.9.0 as the file manager under Xfce.

Edit:

Sorry, it is the ~/Templates directory as defined in /etc/xdg/user-dirs.defaults. See freedesktop.org xdg-user-dirs

Thank you very much, I got it to work. I now have templates for shell / perl scripts
