Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

I'm wondering if anyone has successfully made Word 2002 run via Wine. I've tried setting it up for an entire weekend, and got bupkis. It'd get to a point in the installation, and then just quit. I tried it with straight wine, winetools, and I'll try it with pinot grigio and merlot if I have to.
OpenOffice is great, but its comments function is pretty limited, and I have a massive manuscript to work through. Word just has a very functional comments and track changes feature, and I'm getting the manuscript in Word format. This has necessitated my going back to Windows for the past week, which is a bit annoying.
So I'd love to hear from you if you've successfully installed Word 2002 via Wine, or if you know of someplace that tells how to do it. I've read about every how-to I can find, and Word 2002/Word XP are in the Wine database as working programs, but no place can I find anything that tells you just how to set this thing up.
