failure to print landscape

I can not print landscape spreadsheets in Linux ever since I moved to SuSE 10.1 (from 10.0). I lose about two inches of the left-hand area of the sheet (as you face the document). The same spreadsheet works fine in Windows. At first I thought the problem was related to a practice I have of sometimes creating a sheet in Calc, then saving it as .xls to share with non-Linux users. Not so. The problem is an equal opportunity annoyer. By the way, this fault also affects envelope printing. And, yes, I do check to see that both spreadsheet paper size and envelope style (#10)are indicated correctly.

This is a major annoyance. Anyone have the answer?

Sudden thought: In installed updated OOo when I moved to 10.1. Could the problem be there? And what's the fix?

Thanks.
