(Debian Stretch) KDE SDDM do not start up at boot

Hello, I have tried to reintall x and kde serveral time but nothing helps. When I start the computer, I end up in the text terminal. I can still log in as root and start sddm manunally. I read suggestions about running "systemctl enable sddm.service -f" but that gives me this error:

Code:
Synchronizing state of sddm.service with SysV init with /lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install...
Executing /lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install enable sddm
The unit files have no [Install] section. They are not meant to be enabled
using systemctl.
Possible reasons for having this kind of units are:
1) A unit may be statically enabled by being symlinked from another unit's
   .wants/ or .requires/ directory.
2) A unit's purpose may be to act as a helper for some other unit which has
   a requirement dependency on it.
3) A unit may be started when needed via activation (socket, path, timer,
   D-Bus, udev, scripted systemctl call, ...).

There have been a lot of problems with KDE Plasma5. I had a very rough road with it. For a while a had to boot into gnome flashback metacity. KDE is gradually getting back to normal. I'm running sddm version 0.12.0-5 and Plasma version 5.15.0-1. Are you running the same versions?

If the sddm unit file lacks an Install section I would definitely count that as a bug and report it to Debian, as you are supposed to when running Debian Testing. In the meantime, it should work if you do the install manually with setting the symlink:
Code:
ln -s /usr/lib/systemd/system/sddm.service /etc/systemd/system/
Note: I have currently no Debian system with GUI installed to test this, the actual paths may slightly differ.
