change application background color - from white to black - question

hello everybody:-)

can somebody tell me how to change background color of my applications (eg firefox, leafpad, rox file manager, etc) from white to black?

i have seen that there is a theme in kde 4 that changes color of this apps above to black and i want to do the same thing in my fluxbox...i don't know what to search for on google so if anybody can help me it would be great.

thank you in advance:-)

p.s. i looked the name of color scheme in kde and it's called "obsidian coast"...

i have found in this thread http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...luxbox-784737/ some answers, but it doesnt change my firefox background, neither leafpad or openoffice...

There's a gtk-qt cross-theming engine that works to make your kde desktop style work with gtk programs. There's also a kde system settings module available for configuring it, which may need to be installed as well.

Not long ago however, a bug appeared with it that kept Firefox from shutting down properly; it would persist in memory even after the window has closed. I haven't checked recently to see if it's been fixed.

Other than that you'll have to look into the built-in theming ability and settings of the individual programs, if they exist.
