Cannot open access to console, the root account is locked in emergency mode

Hi

I just installed Fedora 33 from live USB to my portable hard drive. The installation was successful. But when I am trying to login to the fedora I am stuck and getting the below message :

" You are in emergency mode. After logging in, type "journalctl-xb" to view system logs, "systemctl reboot," to reboot , "systemctl default " or "exit" to boot into default mode.
Cannot open access to console, the root account is locked. Press enter to continue"

What's the solution?

emergency mode typically means a filesystem problem, possibly due to something like power-off without having done shutdown. Boot from live USB and check the filesystems and the logs.

Well, did you press enter to continue? Run the commands suggested? What did you actually do/try??

As smallpond says, the message indicates a filesystem problem.
