Can I partition in this manner?

Partition 1 - Primary, NTFS, Windows XP
Partition 2 - Primary, NTFS, Vista
Partition 3 - Primary, NTFS, Win 7
Partition 4 - Extended
Partition 5 - Logical, EXT3, Ubuntu
Partition 6 - Logical, NTFS, hidden backup image

We are a small group of volunteers with a virtual setup that isn't working well. As we only run one operating system at a time, we don't need virtuals. The above suggestion would allow us multiple boot options.

TIA and for all the past answers

This is doable.. there can be issues with the boot loaders playing nicely though, I think you need to install the Window's in chronological order then Linux last - but I haven't tried it recently.

cheers
