How do you mount the device after reboot? Does it auto-mount? If it auto-mounts, remove the entries from /etc/fstab.

And here is the output of the 'lsof |grep sda4' which I understand to be the processes running. Note the 3 PIDs (Same #). That PID is the one that changes when I do a reboot but the processes themselves seem to be the same, AND that is the PID I was trying to kill, but wouldnt.
