Unity3D on Deepin OS is not starting

I followed the offical Unity Forum link to install the Unity3D Engine on Deepin OS. I downloaded 5.1 2017 built and installed the deb file with gdebi. The installation went well however, when I click the Unity icon, it simply did not open or show any error.

Heads up - Unity3D on Linux is a mess. And there are newer and better builds if you scroll down on that forum thread where you got the old build.

You should start Unity from the command line and see what errors you get if upgrading to like the 5.4/5.5/5.6 Linux beta doesn't help.
