Tell me current requirements of Industry

I'm going for CompTIA linux + exam. First i want to know from where i'll get good resources and Can i fetch job related to linux programming , o/s handling, troubleshhoting,developement, managing system etcin any big industry. What are Industries requirement , or they are demanding any specific linux certification, like LPI, Red hat certification. please tell me?
