I originally saw it for September. Then I saw it for July. Then I saw it for September again. Then December. Then November. Even February 2016. Some from Amazon. Some from B&N. I think another smaller site. Amazon seems to change every other week, though.
Is there a more definitive release date that anyone knows about? Perhaps Mr. Jang himself?
In the meantime I've been using the book written by Asghar Ghori which is a solid substitute. But, traditionally speaking, I would like to have The Jang Book Version 7(TM) and the practice exams companion book.
yes i saw the same thing...trying to start some work while i wait for his book to come out...
i am having a problem understanding how the certifications all fit together...
can you please assist me with this...
on red hats site i found:
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) exam (EX200) tests your knowledge and skill in areas of system administration common across a wide range of environments and deployment scenarios. You must be an RHCSA to earn a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCEŽ) certification. - so i beleive that RHCSA is the entry level certification...am i right?
but i downloaded some RHEL 7 tutorials that look excellent...and in the downloads were 3 pdfs in study docs:
RH7 RH124
RH7 RH134
RH7 RH254
also what is ex200...is the RH124 etc just the material and ex200 the exam?
which ones do i have to do now for RHCSA? just RH124? i think the whole kit was RHCSA/RHCE
could you please help me clarify what i need to learn in the best order...

your help would be greatly appreciated
You are correct in your assumption about ex200 being only the exam. RH124 and RH134 are the training courses that lead up to the RHCSA exam; Red Hat System Administration I and II respectively. RH254 (Red Hat System Administration III) is geared more toward the RHCE.
I wouldn't say the RHCSA is "entry level" as it does require a great deal of practical knowledge. It is the only prerequisite to the RHCE (no courses are required to take the exam).
Ok i will play by the rules...i have deleted the pdfs and bought the book for 35 euro...small price to pay for education...thanks for your input
No worries. From what I can tell Mr. Ghori is fairly helpful. I've sent him a few emails with errata to report and he has responded. I haven't asked questions about the actual skills, though.
There are other forums to get help so don't feel like you have to stick to this one if you run into issues.
