Unmounting USB Flash drive

I am trying the free download version of Java Desktop. I can mount my USB Flash drive without difficulty but when I try to unmount it I get an error message saying that the drive is in use. This happens with nothing open or running apart from the desktop.

sometimes the cache is still using the device, theres a proggie called fuser wich may help.

Logging out and back in again should fix it too
