Flash Fireofox (Icewasel) plugin doesn't work

Hi,

Even if on Addons page (Plugins section) I've seena a lot plugins installed, including Shockwave Flash 10.0 r22, no flash player is opened.
As this problem seems very obvious and blocker for me, but nobody reported it, I think I have special case. But, of course I don't know what's wrong.

In aboutlugins page, nothing is displayed. It seemed weird, but it explains why I don't see any flash. Also, I've seen the libflashplayer.so into /mnt/livecd/opt/netscape/plugins, but worthless.

Thanks for any help.

PS.I'm using the liveCD from USB stick. I had troubles on using from the a booting cd ('Media not found'), but I solved with booting from a USB stick. Also, I've created an uncrypted persistent home.

I assume you're using Debian, since you said it was iceweasel. Is this correct?

How did you install flash?
http://wiki.debian.org/FlashPlayer

I think Debian might include Gnash, the open source flash player, by default. If so, this must be removed to use Adobe Flash. Both together will conflict and neither will work.

That's strange. The only thing that can be suggested is checking whether all plugins on Addons->Plugins page are enabled or not. You can select an item from the list by your mouse and see what's written on the button that appears on a selected item. If it says "Enable" then the plugin is currently disabled, and vice versa. The plugins enabled in that list may appear in about:plugins also.
It's just an obvious dumb solution, but sometimes it helps
