I've started this group for admins/engineers/architects/geeks/tweakers interested in learning, discussing, and sharing experience(s) in monitoring, configuring, and tuning the Linux kernel and operating system components for maximum performance, efficiency, security, and stability in demanding HPC/HTC environments.
To be a little more specific, things like tuning the VFS, I/O schedulers, software/code/memmory managment and optimization, RAID configuration, filesystem creation (aligning with I/O stack), coalescing, network tuning, Infiniband & RDMA, NUMA, etc... I'm sure there's more?
If you're intersted, please feel free to join and kick off a conversation.
