a question about gentoo iso?

Hello all.
I need to install Gentoo Linux on my notebook,I searched internet for Gentoo DVD ISO. I found this:

http://gentoo.mirrors.tds.net/pub/ge...-32ul-10.0.iso

I downloaded the ISO and boot my notebook with this. It's a Live Gentoo DVD, and I want to know can I use this DVD for installing Gentoo on my notebook or I should download something else?

AFAIK you cannot install gentoo directly from the live DVD. You can use this DVD to perform a install from stage3(the how to is in handbook). In HB are also maintioned many others way how to install gentoo. The "magic" installer is included with Gentoo 2008 CD.

I recommend that you use the latest Gentoo minimal CD or even SystemRescueCD to install your box.

Don't use the 2008 CD series, that are too old.
