Great, we couldn't even have at least ONE day..... What a great start already....
Well you know how mankind is.. 2016 was violent... there was no reason to believe that 2017 would be any different... It was a nice hope and I would have wished you are right but well...
As long as people fight for different religions or for some piece of land, things will not change.
Hope is what always dies last... then again, if I read the news (something I did daily before and barely do now), I more and more get the feeling, that mankind is on a hopeless path... I suppose I would not be surprised if one of these days we blow ourselves up with some "accidentally launched" nuclear weapon or when attempting to test yet another new invention, made for just the sole purpose of killing...
I really find it sad... we are supposed to be evolved and the miracle of evolution. Yet not even the most primitive animals are killing each other about things such as greed, food, or whatever... They fight to survive and kill to survive... but we should not have reason to kill to survive.. because there is no actual thread to us, other then ourselves and the products of our ignorance, such as lack of food in Africa or diseases.
Ah well... There is still hope for changes. My grandmom would have said better late than never... and for now at least it's not too late.
