Windows XP sounds don't work after Ubuntu installation
Hello friends,
My Windows XP sounds don't work after Ubuntu installation (on a different physical hard disk). Although my soundcard (soundblaster audigy) works fine with Linux, the same doesn't happen for XP. XP recognizes the card, it plays sounds and videos (wav,mp3,mov,flv), but no sound comes out to the headphones.
What went wrong?
[I uninstalled and reinstalled the SBaudio drivers, with the same result.
No sound. Of course, no device or sound is muted. In Volume Control window, when AUX is unmuted, then Line-In is automatically muted and the opposite. I don't know why this happens. But in any case I hear not a sound]

Ubuntu is not the cause. Check your mixer settings in XP.
