Windows driver problem

Since there were no other places on the forum that seemed fit to post a thread about windows, I posted it here. Hope you guys don't mind.
Anyway, can anyone help me with this?

did you try installing the latest Nvidia driver, I'm not sure if you said that or not.

hmm.. Post your other specs of your computer. Have you tried putting the old card back in? does it do the same thing? How about other games, does it do it in them too?

if all fails, you can screw something up in the windows install and that will force your dad to have to re-install, and hopefully windows will pick up the new card *laugh*

I did use the latest driver yes.
My comp's specs:
AMD Athlon XP 2600+ Barton
768MB DDR RAM
200GB Linux HDD, 80GB Windows HDD

I don't have any other games installed on windoze.

And screwing something else up would be a bad idea because my dad knows jack shit about computing, and I'd be forced to install it all back for him.

Exactly. Plausible Deniability. just make sure you save all his important stuff and say, delete NTLDR so that it won't boot, then re-install it and bam, clean.

Anyway, I would try to install another game to see if it will work.

A friend of mine has just suggested something to me, downgrading the driver. And it worked
The game works again
