I would not worry... Far too many servers run Linux for it not to have a voice. Additionally, actually forcing anything that would effectively lock out Linux generally would pretty much open them up to anti-competitive lawsuits. Lawsuits they can't force a person into binding arbitration over since you don't use their software and have no agreement with them.
There are also countries in the EU where M$ isn't popular and they'd bring the EC into it. At the very least, some hardware manufacturers will go after the Linux market specifically. The smart ones are aware that most Linux users are employed in some IT capacity and are thus voices that have input on purchasing decisions.
If M$ has made one serious mistake in the last 3 years it's been turning their back on IT. Everything I am hearing does not bode well for them come Windows 7 EOL.
