Which nvidia card works best with beryl and.or compiz fusion?

Hi,

I read that beryl and compiz works best with nvidia cards. Which nvidia card model do you recommend that will support beryl/compiz and its plugins?

Thanks in advance...

Pick one.

Then goto the nvidia site and make sure you can get driver for it. If you like playing games I would recommend spending a little extra on a gaming card though.

Have 5000-7000 series and they all work great with compiz and beryl. Haven't tried the 8000 series yet because I don't seem to need a new card yet though.

Has anyone tried it on integrated GeForce graphics though? Like series 6000?

But the Beryl site used to reccomend anything over a GeFore MX4, so practicly every card will work... If you don't game much, your integrated graphics should do, but if they don't, you can find PCI video cards from series 5000 or sometimes 6000 for like 40$-60$.

Any And All

I've got it running on a PIII 600 with a PCI 5600 - runs great.
