Where's kernel.org

What happened to kernel.org? I was just in the middle of downloading 2.6 when it stopped working.

the www.kernel.org server is under considerable stress with all the people downloading the 2.6 kernel
also, the ftp server is down, there are several mirrors though, just go to ftp://ftp.<country-name>.kernel.org

You think it's bad now, watch the numbers this weekend. When 2.4 came out, there was a couple day lag, but that weekend, it got hammered like pamela anderson. Hopefully, it won't be that bad, as there are less "user-friendly" additions, but at the same time, there are a whole lot more Linux users out there as well. Expect it to spike again the moment the first distro comes out that incorporates 2.6 into it.

I'm still happy with my test-9.
Too lazy to get 2.6 and recompile. I'll wait a little
