Fleck it! I don't know if that's a word my brother made up or not..
Fleck is that texture-ish paint that gives it a bit of a bumpy thing (like a wall kinda). Fleck it with Gray, but make the base red. That'd look awesome You could also do some Base red, blend it to a mustard yellow, then Fleck it Gray! Yeah, that'd look real good!
Fleck (or whatever it's really called) is available at most hardware stores and Wal-Mart type stores
I say if the case is mainly aluminum or metal, sand blast it down to give it a natural metal look.. and then paint the plastic front plate to match it..
