Website visit
There are counters on some websites that reveal the number of visitors. What I would like to know is whether some amount of money is paid to the website owner if the counter has some particular number.
In other words, for x number of visitors, $x is paid to the website owner?
I am just asking because I have heard this from someone....
Please tell me.......

A lot of site work off of ad clicks too. They get some much money every time someone clicks on an add. I played an online game once and thats how they kept their server up, add clicks. Even made an event out of it. If you clicked the most you got a nice item.
