web site help


i bought computer-tom.com at yahoo, and i have set up a server at 71.232.33.90 . currently i have it so my page just is forwarded to the place on the server with my page, how do i make it automatic. I can change and make A records, and all that dns stuff (name servers...) what do i need to do?

1. Set up an DNS record for www.yourdomain (may be with redirect when no www).
2. Set up the server (Apache?) to serve your domain (you need to point to the root dir of your site).

i have win xp and apache, what will i need to do to just connect the two, make A records or sompthing?

You need to make an record pointing the server. With all other things configured correctly, it should work.
