Venting... deep breaths

Let's say that I'm in a very BAD violent rage right now. Any nice non controvesrial topic starters would really be appreciated. No, this post isn't a joke, I'm serious.

Not to be inflammatory in any way here Squall, but wouldn't it be best to just simply log off for few to cool off? There is no need to invite trolls to spin you up man. Take a breather and crack a cold one or something.

Squall,

I've gone through the same thing at times. I find I have to simply not get on the computer, not send any emails, and just go chill.

I know how you feel.

Take the evening off dude.

Peace,
Whitehat

People in forums, especially places like General tend to do that. I try to remember that because the site is of a global nature, I cannot expect most people here to share my beliefs or perspectives on things. People in different states feel very different on topics like religion and politics, it only amplifies when you go international. Take everything you read here with a giant grain of salt. Some people espouse weird beliefs and values on the Internet that they would never dare speak out loud where they live.

And on the topic in question, the people making stupid comparisons to prove a point actually only discredit themselves. I for one typically stop reading posts when they resort to trolling like that (intensional or not). It is a waste of my time, as someone with a degree in 20th century military history. Don't let them spin you up, or they win...

Don't let things get to you so much - differing opinions is what makes the world a cool place to live

Not everyone has to agree for there to be mutual respect here.

If your seriously in a Violent rage I suggest you seek help elsewhere. This is not the time or the place to seek help in your own personal problems that you encounter.

Seriously squall, I think we've given you about a dozen chances on these forums but yet you just keep coming back, posting utter crud in threads, letting your emotions get the best of you. I would suggest you not keep this up or I'm going to start losing my patience again.

I've asked to have this thread closed, its not a suitable place in which it seems you might need some serious help by just reading your posts and reactions on these forums.

Regards.

Quite correct and for this reason the thread has been closed.
