As in a 3.5 floppy disc with a Linux on it? I couldn't even find one on Ebay. Don't care what distro-just need something on a floppy. Be willing to pay for necessary costs.
{to Mods-I am not trying to make a buisness transaction here, just trying to install a very small distro on a very old computer. No such luck with HDD transfer-Apple to PC hardware.}
Never really understood how to install a tgz file to a floppy. Do you have one then? Or just the link? If I have to, I'll try and figure it out. Problem is, I don't even know if my laptop can connect to the net...its a Powerbook 5300cs. Made in 91.
In some cases, you'll have to do your first boot from floppy disks. Generally, all you will need is a high-density (1440 kilobytes) 3.5 inch floppy drive.

Then please just ask where one might find a floppy-based distro. Leave out the "I'm willing to pay for costs", which is a solicitation. Thanks
