Sempron CPU on Socket A/462 board

I have a Soltek board with nForce2 Ultra Chipset. Link: http://www.soltek.com.tw/soltek/prod...%2FSL-75FRN2-L I know that it could take Sempron (socket A) CPUs with a bios update, but currently I don't have any socket A CPUs to check or update the bios. The socket A Semprons are basically Athlon XPs with 333Mhz FSB, so I wonder if it would work without a "proper" bios.

I don't think you would need a BIOS update. I had an Athlon XP which went bad and I replaced it with a Sempron. It works now... I have an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard (socket A)
