I'd imagine that you'd have to google for stuff.
I'm aware that at least 1 of the UK's major retail chains has been trialing RFID and they've brought it in for a limited number of "high value" product's (plus they've put tag's on important keys so staff members don't take them home by mistake
). The system I saw being installed was based on Redhat, and the RFID stuff was just one part of a new data control/management system.
But mainly the stuff I've seen has been at the register or slashdot, or on various techie TV programmes.
What I do know is that the "chips" can be the size of a piece of childrens decorating "glitter" and that because the technology has the ability to be so intrusive, that various "people" have suggested that the UK gov should legislate and control it's uses, and tighten up our "Data Protection Act" so info gleaned with such technology fall's within existing law too prevent misuse.
This is the URL of the search I tried at the register, which covers the stories/articles that they've had refering to RFID
Maybe this will point you in the right direction for further research?
regards
John
