Cool Rate your G33kness

How would you rate your geekness level on a scale of 1 to 10? (And post why)

Hint:
1=never on the computer
5=average user
10=there is a world outside?

haha, point taken.

11=Fiberoptics exiting from one's head, arms intertwined with mouse cords, 17 monitors, and enough computers to serve for the next 40 years. lol

I How would you rate this?

"I have more invested in computers than my car, or more in software than in my clothes."

Well, I chose 7, because I'm not just an average user, since I like "hacking" around in my system if I don't like something, but if it seems to be a too complex thing to hack, I leave it there because of time shortage. Thats all.

I said 7 because of the fact I don't know a bunch of programming stuff. I can 'hack' my system to no end, but HTML and theme designing is my thing. Customization is good, creation of programs, a little lame.

I decided that I was an 8, mostly because I don't kernel hack.

I gave myself 7, too. Looks like it's a magic number.

Yeah. I'm an eight, only because I'm forced to venture... *shudder* outside (AAAAGH! IT BURNS!) to go to school, etc.

I could quite easily have been a mushroom.

I spend most of my holidays reading huge computer books. My last holiday I took my ancient portable PC (yes, portable. If you have a truck, that is.) and spent four of the seven days working on that.

DOS 3.3; 16bit; 720Kb 3+1/2" diskettes; 640KB RAM; and the world's most awful 9" monochrome LCD screen (without back-light.)
My major (geeky) aim is to have linux on that, by next holiday.
