printers

Can anyone help me with some printer issues? I have an epson 980 printer. I also have 2 distros SuSE 7.1 and RH 7.1 . I want to be able to print in color. I've tried SuSE and it only does B&W. Can anyone tell me if the RH will support color printing? I don't want to do another install just to find out. Or does anyone have any ideas on how to make SuSE print color with my printer. Niether distros web site is very helpful.

I'm fairly certain it has nothing to to with the distro. I print color thru Samba and have not setup a printer thru Linux but all color printers can print b&w. Keep looking, it's gotta be a simple setting that is sending a printer code to force B&W.
