I'm currently reading,

PHP and MySQL Web Development.

Luke Welling
Laura Thomson

ISBN 0-672-32525-X

The two subjects go hand in hand this this book, it has five main area's the first two are a crash course in php and mysql, then it gets into the advanced stuff in web php / sql intergration security design and so forth.
